Although Webb’s of Hitchin would love to sell all fruit & vegetables in their natural state, plastic ree, it is simply not always possible. Most of the time anything we well in plastic packaging comes in that way from the supplier and is done to protect the fruit & veg from damage whilst preserving its quality. But where we do use plastic containers to display our fruit & veg we will happily have the plastic containers returned on your next visit as often we can reuse them, although generally we are unable to reuse those purchased in other shops.
